Very Heavy when Installed

The actual functionality of the Bluetooth keyboard is very nice with a nice feel to the keys themselves; the Bluetooth pairing couldn't be easier. My only complaint is that the keyboard is very heavy and adds considerable weight to the iPad once installed. I have to mount the iPad on the yoke of an airplane, and I actually was concerned that that much weight might affect the function of the autopilot.

Poor fit. Unnecessary for a keyboard cover combo

The failure to have a sufficent screen contact to prevent the device coming back on until the battery dies while you think it is off is a no go for me. This is a necessity. You must turn it on and off versus relying on it being off. Also, insufficient space exists to use the volume controls with any ease. If you are wanting merely a sturdy case and keyboard there are so many other better options. I recommend not buying this particular product even though other pivot products may be fine

Just as a helpful note, the keyboard is designed with an automatic sleep/auto-off feature after a period of inactivity, so there’s no need to manually power it on and off during normal use. Most customers report only needing to recharge the keyboard every few weeks with regular use.
