I love my Pivot case. It was recommended to me by a fellow pilot and helps to increase my situational awareness as I don't have to look down at my kneeboard to find information. The suction cup works perfectly on the TBM,PC-12 and CJ airframes.

The case is amazing. Very durable, no worries dropping this on the ramp. I love the extra support built in to keep the Apple Pencil from getting knocked off, it’s secure but still easily accessible. Bonus feature: the folio style cover has build in feet notches to allow you to prop your iPad up without needing the built in extendable foot. Makes it much faster to open and prop up. Favorite case for aviation.

I’ve tried several different iPad mounting setups over the years, and the A35 Pivot Case by Flyboys is the one I’ve finally settled on. It strikes the perfect balance between security, convenience, and flexibility.

What sets it apart is the Pivot ecosystem. Whether I’m using a yoke mount, suction mount, or leg strap, I can quickly move my iPad between configurations without changing cases or dealing with complicated hardware. That flexibility is a huge advantage depending on the aircraft, mission, or cockpit layout.

The case itself is rugged without being bulky, protects the iPad well, and keeps access to buttons, charging ports, and the Apple Pencil simple. In my Cessna 210, it stays secure, doesn’t interfere with flight controls, and keeps ForeFlight exactly where I need it.

After experimenting with several competing products, this is the setup that feels the most refined and pilot-focused. Flyboys has really dialed in the design, and the ability to adapt to different mounting options makes it an easy recommendation for any pilot looking to improve cockpit organization and efficiency.

Amazing makes instillation in the plane way easier and saves time. I love how secure my pencil stays and the ease of use for the whole product. Looks good and functions even better!

It works really well and is made well. Improvements would be a more secure way to hold the apple pencil. I hit the pencil by accident all the time to where it fell once in the cockpit, luckily before taxiing. Second improvement would be to have an option to attach a paper checklist to the side somehow. Third improvement would be to have the belt clip attach to something different beside the velcro (s-hook instead of velco).

This is my second Pivot Case. Pivot is looking to improve its designs, but this update falls a little short. My former case (T21A) had an issue with the corners tearing off. The new design (A35A) fixes that, however, any time I want to mount my iPad, I have to take the cover off and store it somewhere else, whereas with the T21A case, the cover was secured to the mount and the base flipped around to fix into the cover with the iPad facing outwards. The A35A requires me to remove the cover and store it somewhere else leaving the iPad vulnerable to drop damage when I have to fish out the cover after using the mount. The A35A does a much better job of securing my Apple Pencil than the T21A. The pencil has much more case surrounding it.
Be aware, the A35A comes with the “A35A Pencil Edge”. Don’t be confused by the site’s description of the Pencil Edge. This is not something that secures the actual pencil, but provides more protection for the iPad if you aren’t using the Apple Pencil.

Huge fan of the way it fits feels thoroughly secure. Adds some bulk but still easy to tote around and I feel much more comfortable framing it into a bag. One thing is that initially using the clip system on the bag was a little tight and took me a while to get the hang of, but I think that’s a me issue. It is completely smooth now.

Love the case and the stand. Love how it easily clicks in to mount! The cover...not so much..kind of flimsy and takes some alignment to close. Not a deal breaker because I don't use the cover and I have a screen protector. The articulating yoke mount is perfect for the Piper Warrior/Archers I fly. It allows me to drop the iPad down lower so I can still see my attitude indicator and HSI. Perfect setup!

I used to have a suction mount for my ipad in the airplane, but realized it was a hazard because of how it blocked visibility of seeing and avoiding other traffic. Another CFI recommended this product and I decided to give it a shot despite the high price tag.

The way this case mounts onto the accompanying kneeboard makes a huge difference in my ability to steadily copy down unpublished holding and other instructions in the training environment. It also just makes the ipad/Foreflight setup feel way more organized in the cockpit. It's more money than I would have liked to spend, but I could never go back to not having this case! I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a snazzy and safe setup in the flight deck.

Sturdy and seems like quality. I’m still working out the value proposition as I bought it on recommendation alone.
