Solid build. Didn't work for my application in the C-172 I'm flying. The arm isn't long enough to get my iPad low enough that it's not blocking the Heading Indicator (joys of rentals)
The claw mount is such a huge improvement to my IPad and flight planning now! The main thing it allows for is traffic awareness and the ability to mainly keep my head out the window!
Good…but be advised the arm is to short to use on a King Air yoke. I had to purchase a 5” arm off Amazon ($35) in order for it to work.

Perfect for the C172. Mounts from the yoke shaft, solid and makes for a great easy to use iPad setup.
Great product. High quality, but it didnt fit my C182F with closed-loop style yoke. The claw was big enough to clamp onto the shaft, but wasn’t long enough to reach through tbe yoke into a viewable position.
Perfect addition to C172 kit.

Ive used knee boards and window mounts. As an instructor this is a game changer. As long as you use the ipad mini. Im sure the bigger ones will work but i havent tried it. I didnt know how much id actually use this but i love it. For sure worth it!!

For a typical Cessna 172 application, do your recommend the regular or extended-arm, small claw? Does the regular arm allow enough hand room between the yoke grips and the back of the Pivot case?
For a typical Cessna 172 setup, customers have found that the extended-arm, small claw mount works best. However, please note that even with the extended arm, it may not be long enough to fully clear the yoke mount.
