Unlike standard 115VAC/400Hz outlets, PIVOT Power draws directly from the aircraft’s 28VDC bus, reducing electromagnetic interference and maintaining compliance with DO-160, Section 21, Category H requirements for flight deck use.
An internal high-efficiency DC-DC converter (85%) delivers 10+ watts of stable charging power while providing overload and short-circuit current protection. Each channel is protected by both a thermal fuse on the supply side and a load fuse on the device side, ensuring fail-safe protection in the event of cable, device, or battery faults.
